Bug Description

I installed Zeya on Linux Mint 17.2 via Synaptic. Seemed to work quite well with the web browser on the same box so I pointed the web browser on my Android 4.4.2 tablet at it. The track list came up pretty quickly so I touched a track name but apart from a busy cursor not much happened. It did play after some minutes but switching to another track took just as long as before.

I tried it on my mobile as well which is a Nokia N9 with Meego. Opera didn't work because it does not implement HTML 5, the built in browser brought up the tracklist but behaves the same as the browser on android.

I then tried Firefox on the N9 and that worked just as well as Firefox on Mint so I installed Firefox on two Android tablets and hey presto it works.

I have Chromium on Mint so I tried that with the same disappointing result as on the tablets.

So far I have tried:

  on Android:
Chrome, Dolphin, Lightning, UC Browser HD, and Firefox

  on N9 Meego:
Opera, built in browser, and Firefox on N9 Meego

on Linux Mint 64 bit on Acer 725 amd:
    Chromium, Firefox, Midori,

  on Ubuntu 15:10, Compaq Intel
Firefox, Epiphany (Web powered by Webkit)

Firefox works everywhere. The rest either don't support HTML5 (Opera 12 on Meego) or show the list but don't play at all (N9 built in browser) or play only after a long delay (all the rest).

So it seems this doesn't have anything to do with the OS (works on Linux, Android, Meego, haven't tried Windows) or hardware (works on Intel AMD, three different ARMs and two different brands of tablet).

Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry, should have read the INSTALL file first. I see now that the latency on Chrome is known to be high.
