Thanks myself for reporting this issue. Details of where the instructions were misleading would aid in improving them. Perhaps other community members will also provide feedback.
Note if you have succeeded downloading the software, any time you can run the following command to get the latest code and documentation. Go to the top-level directory of the downloaded software and cut/paste:
git pull
Note to self: a VERSION environment variable needs be added to yesxortor-lib and -v|--version flags need to be added to all tools to allow accurate release version reporting.
