Reinstalling Xulrunner 1.9, got an error

With an Ubuntu 8.04 : New update today. Firefox doesn't run... grrr... Some minutes after, I uninstall all package relating to FF3. And reinstall Firefox (and Xul Runner. Patatra ! Synaptic reports me :

E: firefox-3.0: problèmes de dépendances - laissé non configuré
E: firefox: problèmes de dépendances - laissé non configuré

And now, no Firefox, no Evolution, no clock applet in the taskbar. I make this report from a Windows machine.

Can you try to reinstall firefox and xulrunner once again:
'sudo aptitude install xulrunner firefox'

Try that, in command line:
cd /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s libplds4.so.0d libplds4.so
sudo ln -s libplc4.so.0d libplc4.so
sudo ln -s libnspr4.so.0d libnspr4.so

Then try to reinstall xulrunner and firefox

for me no firefox no thunderbird no clock applet, no rhythmbox,no nm-applet and so on :D

I had to make all these links for it to setup.

cd /usr/lib/
sudo ln -s libplds4.so libplds4.so.0d
sudo ln -s libplc4.so libplc4.so.0d
sudo ln -s libnspr4.so libnspr4.so.0d
sudo ln -s libssl3.so libssl3.so.1d
sudo ln -s libsmime3.so libsmime3.so.1d
sudo ln -s libnss3.so libnss3.so.1d
sudo ln -s libnssutil3.so libnssutil3.so.1d

I have the same problem.

but I have no libplds4.so libssl3.so or other .so files under /user/lib to link.

so what should I do?
