Bug Description

Steps to reproduce:

* Open the URL https://www.xubuntu.org/ in your browser

Result:

The browser reports an SSL certificate error, e.g.:

> www.xubuntu.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate expired on 23.11.2016 13:00. The current time is 18.02.2017 16:38.

Expected:

The browser should load the xubuntu website using an https connection.

Notes:

https://xubuntu.org (without www.) has a correct certificate.

The way I ended up on the broken URL https://www.xubuntu.org/ was by using a combination of DuckDuckGo as search engine (which links to the URL http://www.xubuntu.org/ when searching for "xubuntu") and the Firefox Addon "HTTPS Everywhere", which tries to switch to HTTPS when I visit the link.

Versions: Firefox 51.0.1, HTTPS Everywhere 5.2.10

I can replicate this, https://xubuntu.org works fine, but https://www.xubuntu.org serves up the expired cert.
