Bug Description

I had used stellarium for a week or two without trouble, then I installed opera (deb file downloaded from opera.com). Thereafter stellarium was unuseable - it crashed with a segmentation fault. After trying re-installation and uninstalling opera, reboots and even trying a newer version of of stellarium (11.2), it still crashes with the same message. I have returned to 11.0 from the Ubuntu Precise repository without any change. When called from the keyboard the report is: stellarium: ../../intel/intel_bufmgr_gem.c:1579: do_bo_emit_reloc: Assertion `offset <= bo->size - 4' failed.

I can provoke the crash by searching for the moon and then reversing time. Just now, (11:30 BST) I went backwards quite quickly and it froze at 04:23 BST, a minute or so later I repeated the operation and it froze at 04:38 BST. It does crash under other circumstances, but this is an easy way of getting it to happen.

Hello,
For information, this bug on chipsets Intel seems partially corrected for Linux core 3.nn. (it was ok with 2.nn. ), the display is now correct, but there is still a problem:
Stellarium causes an avalanche of messages
"kernel: [drm: intel_prepare_page_flip] * ERROR * Prepared flip multiple times"
files in kern.log and syslog.
