Sorry, still an enhancement. This feature has never been supported by driver code (prior to 2.0 it was done in the VBIOS). Someone needs to write support for this DVO chip. If you can figure out which DVO chip your machine has, the docs are often available, so you could get it going yourself (the drivers are usually pretty simple).
