Bug Description
Using a HP Compaq 6710b, booting from a persistent flash drive causes the touchpad to not respond. Touchpad is known to work when booting to HD installed windows XP. SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad doesn't respond to any input, with or without another connected mouse, but it is detected. Tthe touchpad worked on Ubuntu for only one boot, but not after that.
