Bug Description

Last week I updated my Ubuntu 16.04 to the newest HWE Stack. It comes with Xorg 1.19.5 that contains a locking problem that randomly crashes X. I'm not the only one affected:
https://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xorg/2017-October/058933.html
and there already exists a patch:
https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/170077/

I tried to build X from the xorg-server-source-hwe-16.04 package but I was not able to get it running. Is there any documentation with what configuration the xserver-xorg-hwe-16.04 package it built?

I use the amdgpu-pro-17.50-511655 and nvidia-387.26-0ubuntu1 driver.

I attached the crash report from Apport. Please tell what other information is useful.
