If the bug is fixed in Edgy, how long until we'll see it backported to Dapper? Lets put the LTS to the test. :)

Meanwhile, is it possible to selectively use Edgy's xserver-xorg package (and drivers) without upgrading to Edgy? I have about ten machines to support for one client, and would prefer to only support the one OS version.
