Bug Description

Some parts of Xpad have stopped working under Ubuntu 21 as reported by Roysten Rigobert.

https://answers.launchpad.net/xpad/+question/697377

After analysis the cause seems to be that Ubuntu 21 switched to Wayland as the default session and Xpad does not seem to play nice with Wayland, such as:

* Pads new location is not saved on exit/shutdown.
* Pads cannot be resized, even when the window decorations are shown.

I am still on ubuntu 18.04 with X.
Switching from one monitor (laptop) to 3 monitors (work environment) regularely.
Locations of the notes get lost every time switching. Are there still updates planed for this or do you point users to updating to a newer system (possibly with wayland).
I am willing to donate some money to whoever fixes this.

What do you mean by switching?
Do you mean that sometimes you have 1 monitor connected and sometimes 3 monitors?
