not a bug, but a suggestion as per your request. (CTRL-R would either expand to show all text. Maybe horizontally up to a max of x characters; vertically up to y lines, where x and y are user preferences; or shrink to crop blank space)

There are several requests for actions by short-cut.
The time has come to implement a configurable shortcut <--> action page.

This will become one of the actions in this page.
