Bug Description
When I start XPad and reopen my pads in Ubuntu 14.04, they are randomly scattered over all my workspaces, and not on the workspaces where I left them on the latest logout.
It would be nice if xPad remembers on which workspace the note had been.
In conjuntion with that, the standard xPad install does not offer a tray icon, this occurs for other programs too and is due to Ubuntu not supporting the standard way of adding tray icons anymore. This means that unless I apply the following workaround,
http://
That there is no way to open hidden pads in Ubuntu. It would be nice if this were fixed as well so as to offer Ubuntu users a functional XPad out of the box. It's a nice note app.

Hi Tom,
I recall that the issue of the location of the pads has been fixed in the past.
Are you able to try a newer version, for example v4.5 or 4.6 (which is in development)?
Regarding the tray icon this is a known issue to many applications, since Ubuntu decided to change their systray behavior.
Currently Xpad has not adapted to this change. It might one day. :)
The hidden and showing of pads can be done by the command-line.
This functionality used to be broken, however if I recall correct, this is fixed in v4.6.
Can you let me know the results of your testings?
