Bug Description
Xpad lacks managment of large collections of notes. Especially when notes are related to different topics. Would be nice if one can sort notes in different "notebooks".
By "notebooks" I was just thinking of named folders within the configuration directory holding the notes. Reorganisisation of the tray icon menu to show a "New notebook" entry and submenues for each notebook folder. The "New" entry could be moved to the submenues to create new notes in the corresponding notebook/folder. A function to move notes between those notebooks would be great then.
I am fully aware of how many code changes might be required to implement this and my "blueprint" is quite sketchy. It is just meant as a suggested feature I currently miss in Xpad → Wishlist.

Thinking about this recently I guess it might be easier to implement some kind of tags (in terms of keywords) instead of grouping notes in directories. Such tags could be stored directly within a note file and checked when toggling visibility. If note has tag show/hide, if not do not show/hide.
Tags could be predefined (in an additional file e.g.) and added as entries to a submenu of the tray icon to toggle visibility. Having them predefined would not required to dynamically build a tag list from reading all tags from all notes. Unknown tags could just be ignored.
