I am also seeing this on a similar system - Lenovo Thinkpad X260 - and for me this occurs when I boot with the laptop docked with two external monitors connected. If I boot without it docked then it boots fine - but when docked Xwayland seems to always crash on startup.

Very similar error occurs in Xubuntu 18.04:

 Description:
  Xorg crashed with SIGABRT in OsAbort()

  __GI_abort()
  OsAbort()
  ??()
  FatalError()
  xf86PostProbe()
  InitOutput()

  __libc_start_main(…)
  _start()

 StacktraceTop:
  OsAbort()
  ??()
  FatalError()
  xf86PostProbe()
  InitOutput()

 Laptop Model:
  Lenovo Thinkpad P51s

 Kernel:
  4.15.0-34-generic x86_64

The error typically pops up after I lock my laptop with an external monitor plugged in the HDMI port.

There are no Errors in XorgLog nor in XorgLogOld, warnings only about missing /usr/share/fonts/X11/...

Not using third party proprietary display driver.

Please advise.
