After changing ANY (this time i changed resolution) settings the game is closing.

My hardware is ATI 4800 HD Raedon it also crashes for me. On my laptop with NVIDIA it works fine. Quake 4 also works fine with both.

Sometimes it crashes and sometimes not, i pasted the config of Jedi Knight Jedi Academy in, since its also based on the Quake 3 engine and I was able to change the settings.

I have a multiboot PC: Windows 7, Ubuntu 12.04, and Arch Linux, i have this game installed on both Arch and Ubuntu, I have an Intel i7 2600 @ 3.4 ghz, 8 GB RAM, AMD/ATI Radeon HD 6770 video card, both OS's are running the proprietary drivers for this card, but I can change things in Arch and it works fine, but in Ubuntu it crashes.
