video driver vdpau not work

Video not working with vdpau driver. I have installed itok because I had hardware acceleration on smplayer but not working on me-tv.
I'm using ubuntu 10.04 with me-tv 1.2. When using ubuntu 9.10 with me-tv 1.1.16, I didn't have this problem.

I'm no expert in VDPAU but don't you need to compile your own version of xine-lib?

I don't know much about VDPAU but if you can't get it working in xine/gxine then this is not a Me TV version issue.

I have this problem also , it appears to be a libxine problem .
Nvidia ppa has a xinelib for karmic but not lucid .
I guess they compile it with vdpau support

OK, thanks. I've sent an email to nvidia ppa team and I was told that use https://launchpad.net/~nvidia-vdpau/+archive/cutting-edge-multimedia . Here will be a package for lucid with libxine and vdpau support in a couple of days

Even with the ppa and updates, I can't use vdpau since I've got lucid. I've got :

I have tried removing me-tv, installing the new libxine from that repository and reinstalling me-tv, but when I try to do this, aptitude installs the old libxine1 and not the new one. Sorry for my English

This is not a Me TV issue. If you cannot run `xine -V vdpau <filename>` then the issue is with your xine/xine-lib version. Referring to Me TV will just confuse any person that may be able to help you.

yeah!!! vdpau works with xine but not with me-tv. This is what I have when run a 1080p file with xine:
