error adding new user

On attempting to create a new user I see the following error:

I am using server 1.0.6 and have never seen this message before. I last added a new user on 1.0.5 though.

Can you walk through exactly what you're filling in to the form please?

I've just tried adding a user on our 1.0.6 unit test server and it worked fine.

Hi,

These are the steps I follow:

1) Login as the administrator user
2) Select Management
3) Select users
4) Select "Add User"

When selecting "add user" the pop-up appears for a split second and then vanishes. The report error is then generated in the log section.

This problem has never occurred before, but I only rarely add users. This is the first user added since my upgrade from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6.

I have attached the troubleshoot.txt file. I have just walked you through the fault from my laptop at home as opposed to the normal PC I use. The fault is the same, and should disprove my work PC.

Matt,

You are running with Debugging switched on (or in Test mode).. can you turn debugging off and put it in production mode (from Settings) and try again.

I have fixed these notices in 1.1.1 (I noticed them while testing)

Thanks for the input. That has fixed the problem. I cannot for the life of me remember when and why I put the server in test mode!

No problem... I usually run in test mode with debugging on while developing. Helps catch these PHP notices (that fill up the log otherwise)

Evidently in 1.0.6 I didn't visit the User form very much ;-)
