Text area PNG background turns yellow

When adding a text area to a PNG background the area behind the text turns a distored yellow.
This does not appear to affect JPG background.

This is while running the latest version.

Does this effect the actual display itself - or is this in the Admin
Interface?
The Admin interface will try to put a transparent region box over the
background which could be causing the problem you see.

If it is only in the admin interface which browser are you using?

Its just on the (client) display when using a PNG background (seems fine on a JPEG), since PNGs utilize transparency could this be the cause?
Either way I can do some more testing tomorrow morning.

It is possible that the PNG transparency is causing the problem. Which
version of IE do you have on the client side? Currently Xibo loads text into
IE as HTML.

Was using IE8 at the time, can test tomorrow if using IE7 makes a differance. Certinly makes sense though.
