Bug Description

When using a GIF as a background image, the background of text boxes (and probably also RSS tickers) is solid white rather than transparent.

Fixed in Python client.

This problem exists on the Windows Display Client running v1.7.3.

Text Area has non-transparent background when using a PNG image as background (with transparency)

Changing background to a jpg, no problem with text area!
