region position fail

server 1.6rc2
client win32 1.6rc1

when a new regiaon is added, the pisition is random.
i added a region at the bottom in layout and i appears always at the tom left side.

the layout was created with 1.6rc1 and play correctly. but added new regions from the 1.6 rc2 is not.
Created a new layout in 1.6.rc2, same happes.

there's a text in that layer added at the bottom black line. but appears at the top. and distort the backgroud at the same time

i created a new layer and added video in one region and it appers like this

Please upgrade to rc2 and report if the issue remains.

Not also overlapping regions are not supported on the Windows client

win 32 rc2 client is not available at the xibo site
web server is already upgraded.

i'm not the best to explain problems at English.

what i meant was: 1.6rc1 layouts is playing correctly. i upgraded to 1.6 rc2, the layout still play correctly,
i edited the layout in 1.6rc2. then the error occurs .

Okay in the xlf you have crazy values for the position of your text region

If you pull up the region options for that region in rc2 what is shown?

I deleted the region, but is still playing. i'm force update, and is still playing.

The layout will have to complete playing before its stopped being shown.

I've tried to reproduce it and can't I'm afraid.

Can you check what background resolution you're using, and that there are
sensible dimensions for that resolution in the resolutions section

I found the bug, it is represented in 1.6rc1 1.6rc2 and 1.6 release
This error occurs when you use special characters that some languages ??have.
in my case the æ ø å in the Norwegian language.

Use those characters where?

We know using them in text items for example is fine as it's in our unit tests

if using a rss feed whit special characters, it works fine,
just when using TEXT the error appears ...

now i'm just */&%"/""#¤)...

i created a demo and recreated the layout. added my client and woalla.. it works..
then i got back to my server en to add the text again, woalla... it works.

do i have a ghost in my server or what?
cause this makes me frustrated..

why does it work now and not the other day?
and i have done nothing but add/delete the text in the region?
