Is this issue still present with a more recent xfce version (4.4.2, 4.4.3 or 4.5.x)? Thanks.

I am closing this report based on the resolution of the xfce bugzilla report. That report has also been closed as "Won't fix" due to Xfce4.4 being obsoleted.

Please report future bugs you do find.
