Bug Description

openfortivpn is a client for PPP+SSL VPN tunnel services.
It is compatible with Fortinet VPNs.

It would be nice if it could be backported to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. Don't know how feasible this is...

Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.

Looks like openfortivpn has been synced automatically and is available in Ubuntu 18.04 (and the upcoming 18.10). So that parts appears fixed?

When it comes to backporting, I've marked xenial-backports as also affected, since that's the project for 16.04 backports. You can take a look at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuBackports for more information.

Yes, the 18.04 part is fixed. Do I need to close this ticket and create a new ticket to request backport to 16.04?

No, if you see above the description I have already marked it also affecting Xenial Backports. A bug report can affect multiple packages or projects, so I'm closing the regular package task, but keeping the backport task open. That way, it keeps the history in one place too :)
