stays in indicator-applet after removed

Bug Description

How to reproduce (what I give is specific but the bug works generally for sure):
1. install Ubuntu 10.04 64bit,
2. install x-chat-gnome-indicator,
3. notice how new entry appears in "new messages" indicator-applet,
4. remove x-chat-gnome-indicator,
5. notice how new entry stays in "new messages" drop-down menu and it's icon changes to N/A default.

Between steps 1. and 2. Empathy has been reinstalled but it doesn't seem to affect the issue.

X-chat entry disappeared with reboot after some indicator-applet changes I cannot recall exactly. It probably wasn't xchat-gnome-indicator related.
