I was wondering if the Wubi installer was not finding the Recovery partition and assigning the wrong sda to the mounting of the ISO and if so how to get around the issue.
I downloaded the 32bit Mythbuntu iso and extracted wubi.exe from it into the same subdirectory as the iso. I used wubi.exe --32bit on the run menu.

I have already run a chkdsk /r and it still happens.
I found the same problem - 11.10 32-bit mythbuntu ISO run with wubi.exe in the same folder. I ended up in an initramfs prompt - it seemed unable to mount the partition containing the installation.iso.
