Installation hangs on "Ready when you are"

Bug Description

So I was trying to install Ubuntu through Wubi everything goes fine until the files finish copying. It stays on "Ready when you are" I have provided a installation log for more information. Any help is appreciated.

How much RAM do you have? Looks like it's running out of memory? (Also looks like the hookup to the failure-command.sh is incorrect)

I see from your question https://answers.launchpad.net/wubi/+question/170218 that you have 512MB RAM, however it's shared with the video card (up to 128MB) so this is probably the problem. See bug 820842 that talks about problems on systems with only 512MB ram.

Unfortunately Wubi requires the Ubiquity installer so there is not much you can do about this. The alternate installer requires less RAM but it is only for standalone installs.

PS I didn't notice that bug 820842 was referring to a VM install.

Ah okay, that explains it. Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to upgrade the ram on this computer nor will I bother it's already too old but when I do finish my new computer I may try this again. But I really do appreciate the help.
