cant install in windows or DOS :(

Bug Description

downloaded na dinstalled hte new ubuntu and installed the new wubi thing to see if that mends this but it doesnt! try to install and i get the error

invalid argument for more ingformation please see the file log in wubi-9.04-rev134.log

and then it stops :( tried to sinstall on restart, it has the logo and its loading bar then seems to try to find the hard drive but casnt ! testsed both the cd and drive and thye both seem fine!
any ideas?!

Please attach the wubi log in your user %temp% folder
Also at boot, press ESC after selecting "ubuntu" and try the other options, in particular the verbose mode

Hiya sorry for the delay, been trying to get more details! well the cd keeps telling me that its extracting the files from my drive,. but everytime it try's to use these files it then says

very confused sorry im quite a noob and just want rid of dirty windows! when i restart all i get is the installation screen so i don't know where the verbose option is could you help me please?! looked at options in the install and theirs nothing there i could see?!

it took me forever lol but i managed to find what i think is the log . . . .

Seems a duplicate of 207137, try to use wubi.exe directly with the ISO (place both in the same folder), without CD inserted

what do you mean ?! ?! i am quite a noob and trying tog et rif of dirty windows you see. i tried to mount it and run it off DEAMON toosla and see what happened- - managed to install but then it wouldnt reognise my cdrom drive as im using wireless internet and nee dthe NSwrapper of it

Just copy wubi.exe in the same folder where you saved the Ubuntu ISO file, and then double click on wubi.exe.
Do not use a CD, whether real or emulated via daemon tools or similar.
