Wubi uninstaller does not work

Bug Description

Wubi uninstaller does not work under Windows Vista x64 with UAC enabled. Wubi installed just fine, but when I try to run the uninstaller (via Control Panel), nothing happens.

Attached are the relevant Wubi log entries.

From the log it looks like the \ubuntu directory cannot be found, was that deleted manually?

No, the entire Wubi installation is intact and working. The \ubuntu
folder exists in E:\ubuntu on my computer.
