windows install hangs upon near completion

Bug Description
During windows installation of Hardy 8.04 desktop amd64 on Vista Premium, installer (Rev 495) hangs upon almost total completion. Text reads "installation complete", CD is ejected, but progress bar is only ~60%. Only Close button is highlighted but doesn't respond. Upon restart ubuntu boot is an option but fails to load. Also note that booting live CD (from restart) fails for this computer.

This is actually a bug in the Wubi project not Ubuntu.
