Uninstall does not clean up Vista Boot Loader Entries

Bug Description

When I un-install Wubi it does correctly clean up after iteself, but leaves an Ubuntu entry in the Vista Boot Loader selection list. This can be removed manually using the bcdedit command line app from Vista; but a proper cleanup would be better.

It works well here.
What version of Vista do you have, what updates?
Also could you please post the Wubi log in your user temp folder (%temp%)?

Hi,
I'm running Vista x64 Home Premium, with SP1 fully patched.
Hope this helps.

The log seems fine. I will update my own Vista and see if I can reproduce.

It says this is a duplicate but I did not find the others.

I had same problem on my Dell 1318 64 bit Vista. The only way I found to fix is with BCDEdit which you have to run as administrator and I am too lazy to figure out.. I was not sure how I would delete the duplicate since they were identical and both took me to Ubuntu. I found EasyBCD.exe on download.com and used it to remove the duplicate.
