Can you also try booting an Ubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 Live CD and see if the screen is black there?

In which the bug is not with wubi but rather something in the video stack. Do you not see anything at all? Even if you wait a while does the desktop not appear?

Can you try pressing Esc during the boot process and see if you get anything?

Thanks in advance.

If i use a live and chose nomodeset Ubuntu starts.

I try now Kubuntu With wubi installer. If i try to press Esc i have

ACPI workarounds
Verbose mode
Demo mode

but only first time
No one of this mode start installer with wubi

I added the nomodeset under Normal mode. In doing so the installer started with Wubi, and Ubuntu-Kubuntu. The only problem is that with Kubuntu is a black screen with only the cursor for the entire installation (but this problem also occurs with Kubuntu 12.04).

I want to remember, however, that the bug is only present on the nomodeset Quantal and not on Precise where the installer starts without problems.

I apologize in advance for my English is not very fair
