Predicted words only appaer after doing backspace

When using the dutch wordlist, dutch.txt. ( in options dialogue Groot dictionary) no suggested words appear until you use the backspace key. All words appear in red.

Eventually Writetype wouldn't start up and gave this error:
UnicodeDecodeError: 'utf8' codec can't decode byte 0xe7 in position 6304:
invalid continuation byte.

Solved by saving it in gedit as Character encoding current locale UTF-8,
line ending linux/unix.
Now everything works like in English.
Here is also a big Dutch prediction list of 35.000 words as attachment.
As you wrote bigger is not always better, but it might be an attractive
option for some
