Bug Description

I have an N300 compatible USB WLAN card - edimax - ew-7622UMn.

It doesn't work with Ubuntu at all.

I can see the available networks, however when I connect it will *never* authenicate (And thus never connect)

I can connect to the network using the onboard wlan card on my samsung netbook fine (using the same details)

The ew-7622UMn card should be compatible with the WLAN network - I'm trying to connect with WPA2 to a wireless G network .

syslog shows

I emailed edimax support - I was advised to try the driver from

http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=48&Level=5&Conn=4&ProdID=231&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true

This doesn't work in either Ubuntu 12.10 or 12.04. (Ubuntu 12.04 has the exact same issues as 12.10 'out the box' also )

I have included the full build log as an attachment

here is a snipet

Why invalid ?

At the moment this hardware is NOT compatible with Ubuntu 12.10 or 12.04?

You can never connect to a WPA network

Using ndiswrapper is works - i.e the Windows driver - it also works in Centos6 .
