after importing a foo.g file I get nothing |
After importing a foo.g file no editor is open. This is confusing.
The .g file is imported in the workspace (a small window at the bottom right), bud is not being open in the visual editor. You can right-click on the corresponding item in the Workspace window and choose Open Editor command in the pop-up menu.
To avoid confusion the imported files should be automatically open in the editor. A global setting can control this behaviour (e.g. an item "Open imported and generated models automatically" under Edit->Preferences..->Common->Editor settings). |
