Bug Description

I have installed the alpha of Natty (11.04) 64bit to test the state of the driver.

I posted in the questions section, but I couldn't find a way to attach files, so I've opened this bug report.

My tablet (trust tb-6300) works in Natty, in as much as I can control the cursor and I have right and left click, however there is no pressure sensitivity, I assume it's because it's being seen as a mouse ?

I tried installing the driver, and this resulted in the tablet not working at all, the cursor doesn't move, the tablet is effectively dead.

I've included the output from "lsusb" and my xorg logs.

Output from "lsusb" ---> Bus 004 Device 003: ID 5543:0005 UC-Logic Technology Corp. Genius MousePen 8x6 Tablet

Just updating this bug.

I'm still running Natty (now in beta) and after some updates, last night or this morning, one of which was something to do with evdev ? or something like that.

It seems my tablet now has pressure sensitivity, I have tested it in gimp and the tablet functions as it did in Maverick with the wizardpen driver.
I haven't installed anything or edited any configuration files so I assume that the updates are what did it.

I have included my xorg.0.log.

Thanks.

I can also confirm that the wizardpen driver (package xserver-xorg-input-wizardpen) got obsolete for me after the Upgrade to Natty beta today. I'm using the HyperPen mini from Aiptec as a tablet.

Natty 64bit. Fully updated as a 4-27-2011

I'm using a monoprice tablet that shows up for lsusb as

Bus 001 Device 015: ID 5543:0064 UC-Logic Technology Corp. Aiptek HyperPen 10000U

It does not show up at all for xinput --list. I've tried with the obsolete maverick package and without. Same results. I've also tried to use bzr to install from source, but autogen.sh fails consistently with:

configure.ac:52: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DISABLE_STATIC

Any guidance appreciated. I'm willing and able to follow any directions and/or provide any requested information.
