Bug Description

It's cute, but the volume indicator makes a pop sound, and that's totally unnecessary.

One virtually never touches the volume control unless he wants to turn it up or down because the volume is not optimal while he's actually listening to something, not just randomly. You can therefore gauge if the level is optimal because there's sound coming out of the computer, you don't need the indicator to make a sound.

The pop sound covers whatever you're listening to, for no reason.

It is actually quite useful. It is feedback for your action to understand how high/low youy have set the volume.

Sometimes I set the volume before something is/will be playing. Perhaps I am in a presentation a busy room or I'm watching a movie which, at the moment, is quite silent.

If for some reason I really want to change it while nothing is being played, I know that the volume will be low if I put it all the way down or almost all the way. I don't need to hear a sound, I just know how a volume control works.

Of course, it's a matter of opinion.

No problem.
