Bug Description

In short, the information displayed by the wingpanel network indicator is not accurate and does not reflect the current state of networking. In the above screenshots, I am connected to both ethernet and wireless and the tray displays that I am connected to neither.

I can confim a part of this issue, that the ethernet entry in my indicator is disabled too.

This is not a duplicate. Please see the screenshots, this is describing a different issue. This issue is that even when connected to wired and wireless networks, the panel displays nothing.
