freeze when taking screenshot of a menu from global-menubar

Bug Description
1. Open the gnome screenshot tool, and set a few second delay.
2. Open a menu from the menubar.
3. The screenshot tool will eventually take a shot and open it's window.
At this point wingpanel does not seem to loose focus and the opened menu is blank. I could only take back control of my desktop when I killed wingpanel from the ctrl+alt+F1 console.
