writes image file to disk OK, crashes on write to SD card

Bug Description
I'm trying to move some Red Pitaya OS and app files on a small SD card to a better quality card. I can create an image file from the old one (a 4GB noname), but when I try to write the image to a new 16 MB Class 10 Sandisk, Image Writer crashes immediately with no error message.
Image Writer 1.0, Windows 10 Pro. Writing from an Intel SSDSC2KW512GB to a a generic USB SD Reader USB device with a Sandisk Class 10.
The image is 32 GB but I'll put it on dropbox if you want it.
