Revision history for this message
Brian Gilliam (bgilliamlcss) wrote :

The program will not launch on my workstation. It crashes immediately with no error message. I remember reading somewhere that this happens if the program encounters a mounted drive that it can't understand how to deal with. My organization uses Google Drive File Stream (Drive for Desktop). Exiting Google Drive un-mounted a virtual drive and after this, Win32 Disk Imager 1.0 worked fine.

Is there a way to get this application to warn the user about unusable drives instead of immediately crashing?

Here is the fault log entry that was found when Win32 Disk Imager 1.0 crashed. The exception code (c00000fd) is the same as the one reported by another user over two years ago.
