Bug Description

After installing Win32DiskImager and trying to open the application, I'm receiving the error message

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I've tried reinstalling many times but haven't had any success. Please let me know how I can get around this error.

Best regards,
Chris

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the quick response. I'm running version 0.9.5 with Windows 7 (and
admin privileges). I downloaded the 0.9 binary and am able to run that
successfully, so I can use that in the meantime.

Best regards,
Chris

Very odd. I use this on Windows 7 all the time and have not seen this bug (although I likely have all of the runtime libraries on my work-provided laptop anyway). Will see if there is a way to reproduce this issue.

If you are still seeing this issue, can you please provide a couple of screenshots? I would like to see the actual error window, and if possible the directory contents of your installation (the installer defaults to C:\Program Files (x86)\ImageWriter).

Hi Tobin,

Thanks for following up. I found another solution so I abandoned this bug.
I'm not sure what caused the issue.

Best regards
Chris

Marking this as incomplete, as I am unable to reproduce it. If someone can give me more details, I can look into it, but for now I am focusing on 1.0 release.
