Bug Description

I started off using a 4gb microsd card to write an image too. I was using the image for retropie v3.3.1. That installed fine. But I try to use the new 64gb microsd card and every single time I try to put the image on there I get error 23 crc.

So then I have to go through the process of loading up diskpart and re-allocating the missing storage on the micro sd card. I've tried moving the file to a different hard drive and re-imaging it. Still error 23 crc.

The program seems to have a micro sd card size limit.

I'm using win32 image writer 0.9.5. Windows 7 64bit. The micro sd card is a sandisk 64gb SDXC Class 10 UHS-1 memory card.

This could possibly be because the program is 32bit, but I am not sure. I don't own any Flash devices larger than 32G, so not sure what to tell you. If I get one, I will certainly test it out.

This could also possibly be related to your SD card reader. Other users have reported issues with built-in SD readers, but have no issues when using a USB reader. Can you provide more information on your system?

Also, check the latest release (v1.0) to see if it still has this issue.

I am able to confirm that it is not a 32bit/64bit issue as I am able to read/write to a 128G USB drive. Unless I get more info, I will let this bug expire.

Thanks for the update. I ended up taking another route by just using a 32gig microsd card.

You can close this issue. Thanks for the help :)
