2012-08-17 20:14:24 James Allen description Hey guys. I bought a new flash to flash a Vanilla build of Hexxeh's chromium OS under Windows 7 x64 using WinImageWriter 0.6. Tried a boot, the flash was stuck in a state where chromium would report that it just fixed itself, rebooted, and again. Windows would not allow me to format the flash and diskmgmt.msc shows buttload of bogus unnamed partitions on the flash drive, which I think means my flash got toasted. Hey guys. Windows would not allow me to format the flash and diskmgmt.msc shows buttload of bogus unnamed partitions on the flash drive, which I think means my flash got toasted. The image writing procedure however went without an error and everything seemed fine and dandy, other than that once WinImageWriter finished writing, the flash had a dark, dangerous, untamed and unknown to Win7 file system.
