Provide a rpm package for Mandriva

There is a request to package WIICAN on Mandriva.
is there a spec file for WIICAN to make an rpm

A more experience Python packager di pack it. I am not using it, but following on the cooker list, there seem to be some bugs in the package.

Yup, I was the last person who made changes to the package before it was added to distribution..

And to Thomas.. Bugs? MDV specific bugs? Bugs discussed on Cooker ML?

I'm not very familiarized with Mandriva packaging. What it's Cooker ML? Does it mean wiican it's proposed for being included in Mandriva repos?

Cooker ML(=mailing list) is a development mailing list for Mandriva.

Wiican is already available at Mandriva repos for Cooker (latest development version) and thus for every stable release from now on. It's also possible to backport current Wiican version to current (and older) stable Mandriva versions if someone asks for it.

So this bug can be closed for wiican 0.2.x, isn't? That's a very good news Jani!
I suppose if there is some bugs on the package they could be tracked on Cooker ML better.

I hope to release wiican 0.3.0 soon. Maybe someone can take the packaging ride.

Sure, I think this "bug" is resolved. I'll keep Wiican up-to-date for Mandriva.. :)

Mandriva has also bugzilla where users may report the issues about the Mandriva packages.
