Bug Description
The screen resolution in OSX for Widelands might be set to the resolution of the whole screen, even if the button for whole screen mode isn't selected. Once this has been confirmed the important buttons like OK, decline etc. move below the visible screen area (and accessible area for the mouse) which means that you a) won't be able to play, and b) can't reset it to smaller sizes anymore (as the OK-button in the options screen is below the visible area as well).

Hi, Holger and welcome to Launchpad!
Confirmed. I would assume this affects all operating systems, not limited to OSX.
A workaround exists though. At least in Ubuntu you can hold down the "alt" key, then click and drag anywhere in the window to move it. This allows the window to be move no matter where it is clicked, opposed to being limited to just when the title is selected. So it is at least possible to revert it to some sane resolution at least. For other operating systems you may have to edit the .widelands/config file.
