Bug Description

See this forum thread for more information http://wl.widelands.org/forum/topic/799/

Basically the second barbarian campaign map (A place to call home) will not load and shows the following error message:
bobs: 1 (owner = "world", name = "duck"): already loaded (immovable)

The people on the forum are all using Windows and are upgrading from an earlier version of Widelands. Reinstalling fixes the issue.

This problem affects several people, so someone should probably look into why it happens.

The latest changes to that map were bug 582905, which modified and deleted some map files. I have not tested it, but I wonder if the removal is done when updating or if only the new files are added. If that is the case, I am really sorry I broke it.

The core of the problem seems to me that the windows installer does not uninstall a prior version of widelands if it resides in the same directory. The bug must be fixed in the windows installer imho...

Sorry for the delay in replying (I thought posting to a thread in the forums automatically subscribed to it)

I'm using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. I downloaded the installer from the Widelands web site and I performed an upgrade. I think the previous build was 15 but I'm not 100% sure.

Pastebin of different files between "Widelands" (fresh build16 install) and "WidelandsBroken" (with faulty campaign).

After uninstalling the game and installing build16 the campaign is working. I did not make any changes to my user directory.
