Bug Description

At my installed system with
Widelands 1:15~ppa4~lucid2
the mouse focuses automatically when i
- left-click to build a building
- left-click to send an geologist
- left-click in an building to see what/where is in it.

This does not work for the newest release 5882 in the windows version!

On an slow machine you can see the mouse is in the appearing window but scrolls back to the point, where it was to build/send...

This could also only be a problem in an virtual machine...

Host: Ubuntu 10.04.2 (64 bit) with Virtualbox 3.2.12-68302~Ubuntu~lucid
Guest: Windows 7 (64 bit)

works for me under linux, so either a problem on windows or in virtual machine.

can't reproduce this on Mac (not in a virtual machine).

can't reproduce this on Windows 7 with bzr5893 *g

so it's really a problem either of virtualbox or the virtual machine itself (mouse driver)...

Regarding comment #3, was that on a physical or virtual machine? Do you still have this problem with either build16 or later development builds?

#5 is really BS, as i read it again - sorry for that!
It was on an virual machine, as reported in #1

Ok, i can reproduce this bug in an new virtual machine.
It seems for me, that something has change cause sometime it works (e.g. calling an geologist) and sometimes not.
Tested with the versions bzr6088 and bzw6099.

Host: Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
Prog: Virtualbox 4.1.6

If more tests needed, ask.

I justr tried with a recent development revision on the following system:
Host: Ubuntu 13.10
Virtualization: Virtualbox
Guest: Arch

When clicking to build a building or on a flag, it autofocused as I would expect. If you are still seeming this, it would be interesting to compare the behaviour if you have a non-Windows guest or if anyone could compare with a non-virtualized Windows install.

I got this misbehavior *only* in virtual machines (and only Windows OS as guest, if i remember this correct).
Maybe this is also an OpenGL problem like other bugs, too?

I will test this at the weekend (i hope so) and dive deeper into it.
