road ends before immovable's graphic

Bug Description

In two immovable's graphics of the Atlanteans (farm, horsefarm), the road to the immovable ends in the garden of the building, not directly in front of the door. Makes a mud hole when walking there every working cycle...

When you mention it, it looks slightly strange when the farmer appear/disappear in thin air. Perhaps this should be tweaked a bit?

As you likely already know, the spot where the road ends at any building is determined by the hotspot defined in the building's conf file. The hotspot is used to fine tune the position of the graphic object and it controls where the building is placed relative to the end of the road. The length of the road from the flag remains constant in all cases so the vanishing point remains a constant distance from the building's flag.

Usually but not always this factor is considered when a new building is designed and the placement of doors and gateways, etc. are planned accordingly.

With large graphics in particular, the coordinates of the hotspot can determine whether the building will end up blocking a nearby road. Special care must be taken to avoid blocking the roads first and then making the vanishing point align with some logical place in the building site.

So with that said, I'll see what can be done to minimize our "mud holes". ;) Hopefully a tweak to the hotspot will help. Worst case scenario would be a redesign or re-staging of the buildings in question.

why redesign? just add a groundplane above that hotspot to make shure that ending is hidden
