editor mirror tool for 2 and 4 player cards

Bug Description

It would be great to have a tool in the editor that allows to make completely fair maps for 2 or 4 (or more) players.
I think the best way to realize it would be to chose this option (and how many players) at the beginning of creating a map. Then you create your terrain/immovables/resources in one coin and, e.g. for a 4-player-map, the same map (mirrored) is drawn automatically in the three other coins of the map.

I think this would make designing fair maps much easier; but what about 3v3, 4v4 or 3 player maps? There is no proper axis for mirroring here.

The implementation could be quite straight forward in the editor: just repeat each mouse click for a mirrored field.

I like the idea! The "problem", that it is harder to support for 3 or more than 4 players is no blocker for me. Such a feature could be implemented step by step and once mirroring on a vertical or horizontal line works, there might be a way to mirror 120° pieces as well... :)

However I vote for making it an extra tool and not the default way of map drawing.

So best create a blueprint for this feature.

I agree. A blueprint would be most useful. Main question is for me: how to implement this in the userinterface; It seems like this is a kind of modifier to other tools, as you want to use it with most tools.

There could be the same mechanism for every even quantity of players. For 3 or 5 players e.g., it is difficult to find a perfect symmetry in the deformed hexagons, but surely it would be good to have this option (with nearly perfect symmetry) for 3 players, too.
One aspect for the UI is: It's better to already see all player's positions while drawing the map, so one can make a smooth change-over from the region of one player to the region of the next player. In contrast, when a finished one player map is mirrored, the map will have some nonnatural lines between the player's areas.

I plan to give the editor some love in build 17, so I'll put this into focus.

I will not add many more features to the editor before we ship build 17, so this is posponed for now.
