Comment 22 for bug 1818494

I have attached a branch that will produce lots of log output for that function. I don't understand yet why it can become < 0, so it would be good to see your numbers when it crashes.

If all else fails, we could add a hotfix for Build 20 that will simply skip the rest of the function if the dimension is <= 0.
