New font renderer doesn't consume all whitespace at start of line

Bug Description
For text within a div tag that's not on the far left, sometimes the text can start with a whitespace.
To reproduce, go to Editor -> Help -> Tips; the bullet points will have a ragged left edge.
Tested at 800x600 resolution.
